Puasa Ada Berapa Jenis Ye?..

Puasa..merupakan rukun Islam yang ketiga.Agak2,puasa ni ada berapa jenis ye?atau...kita hanya tahu berpuasa tapi tidak tahu tentangnya dengan lebih mendalam?Hmm..nak tahu jawapannye?Let's check it out!

Puasa ada 4 jenis.Antaranya ialah:-

Puasa WAJIB
  1. Puasa di bulan Ramadhan
  2. Puasa Kifarat
  3. Puasa Nazar
Puasa SUNAT
  1. Puasa 6 hari pada bulan Syawal
  2. Puasa Hari Arafah
  3. Puasa Hari Asyura pada 10 Muharam
  4. Puasa bulan Syaaban
  5. Puasa Isnin dan Khamis
  6. Puasa tengah bulan iaitu 13,14,15 pada tiap-tiap bulan Qamariah (tahun hijrah)
Puasa MAKRUH
  1. Puasa yang terus menerus sepanjang masa
  2. Tidak termasuk 2 hari raya dan hari Tasyriq
Puasa HARAM
  1. Puasa pada hari raya pertama Aidilfitri
  2. Puasa pada hari raya pertama Aidiladha
  3. Puasa 3 hari sesudah hari raya Aidiladha atau hari Tasyriq iaitu pada 11,12,13 Zulhijjah

Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w;Maksudnya:"Apabila datangnya Ramadhan,maka dibukakan pintu-pintu syurga,ditutup pintu-pintu neraka dan dirantai syaitan-syaitan."(Muttafaqun 'Alaihi)


Haa...sekarang kita dah tau jenis-jenis puasa.Apa kata kita lihat pula apakah amalan-amalan sunat yang boleh kita praktikkan dan amalkan sepanjang bulan puasa.Moh kite!

12 Amalan Sunat Ketika Berpuasa
  • Menyegerakan berbuka setelah masuk waktu Maghrib.Sunat berbuka dengan kurma dan segelas air.
  • Membaca doa ketika berbuka:
"Ya Allah,untuk Engkau puasaku,dan dengan Engkaulah aku beriman,dan atas adanya rezeki Engkaulah aku berbuka,disertai dengan rahmat Engkau."

  • Melambatkan makan sahur
  • Memperbanyakkan ibadah pada malam hari sepanjang berpuasa di bulan Ramadhan.Solat tarawikh pada setiap malam Ramadhan dan witirnya.
  • Mulai malam 15 Ramadhan sampai akhir bulan,membaca doa qunut pada rakaat akhir solat witir.
  • Berdoa dan berzikir setiap malam selepas solat witir.
  • Bertadarus sama ada sendiri atau secara berkumpulan.
  • Beriktikaf di masjid terutama pada 10 malam terakhir Ramadhan.
  • Memperbanyakkan ibadah malam terutama pada malam 10 terakhir Ramadhan.
  • Memperbanyakkan sedekah.
  • Menjauhi perkara yang tidak berfaedah.
  • Mendapat keampunan apabila beristighfar sepanjang hari pada bulan puasa
Baiklah,ana rasa kita semua sudah sedia maklum akan amalan-amalan sunat seperti yang dinyatakan di atas.Oleh itu,ana harap kita semua dapat melaksanakannya dengan istiqamah.Biarpun tak dapat lakukan semuanya sekali,sedikit pun jadilah.Sesungguhnya amalan yang sedikit dan berterusan itu lebih disukai oleh Allah...Insya-Allah,sama-samalah kita gunakan saki baki masa yang tinggal pada saat-saat akhir Ramadhan ini dengan sebaiknya.Mudah-mudahan kita semua mendapat redhaNya...amiiin

Make Fasting Sweet Without The Sugar!

Managing blood sugar imbalance during the fasting month.This article provides a general guide for those who are keen to fast yet concern about their blood sugar levels



The coming of Ramadhan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri excite most people who celebrate these occasions.Yet for some,it can be more than just being ready to fast.According to the Third National Health and Morbidity Survey in year 2006,the known and newly diagnosed diabetes cases among Malaysian adults has increased from 8.3% in 1996 to 14.9% in 2006,almost doubled the percentage in a decade.Based on the Foundation for The Scientific and Medical Research on Ramadhan,
fasting is being discouraged for:

  • Poorly controlled type 1 or type 2 diabetic patients.
  • Diabetic patients who failed to comply with advice on diet,drug regimens and daily activity.
  • Diabetic patients with serious complications such as unstable angina or uncontrolled hypertension.
  • Patients with a history of recurrent diabetic keto-acidosis.
  • Pregnant diabetic patients.
  • Diabetic patients with inter-current infections.
  • Elderly patients with any degree of alertness problems.
  • Diabetic children who are under 12 years old.
  • Patients who often experience hypoglycaemic coma (lack of blood sugar),especially twice or more times during previous fasting periods.
Fasting may be allowed for:
  • Patients who are keen to fast and do not fall under the above exclusion criteria.
  • Persons with BMI above 25 who may benefit from fasting in terms of weight loss blood control lowering effects,improved control of diabetes and blood pressure lowering effects (as long as the patients have no other complications).
In all cases patients must be aware of risks involved fasting even when under medical supervision.Good eating habits,drinking plenty of water and appropriate physical activities can help the body to store and utilise nutrient reserves more effectively during times of food abstinence.Fibre in foods helps release nutrients for a longer period (up to 8 hours) than refined foods (3-4 hours).

Consumption of refined foods such as white rice,noodles and sweet desserts can cause high levels of blood sugar and insulin (a blood sugar-regulating hormone) in the body.This reduces body sensitivity to the hormone,leading to blood sugar imbalance.Symptoms of blood sugar imbalance include headache,poor memory and concentration,irritability or mood swing,sweet cravings,fatigue and drowsiness shortly after meal.
